Re: "spending the rest of your life trying to deny [a paranormal experience]", hear that.

I've witnessed enough things I simply can't explain to have retreated to "well, I don't really know what happened there." My default approach is still skepticism, especially toward things I didn't witness myself.

Of the things I can't explain, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some mundane explanation I am not aware of, though I'm skeptical of that as well. But I'm open to the possibility that there was something more to it.

Humility makes a much better virtue than conceit.

Skepticism is a must. It's the first step to approaching any phenomenon. Otherwise, we'd spend our whole lives chasing phantoms (or our own tails).

This sounds fascinating. I know so many people "connected" (they believe) to all kinds of weird beings. Maybe you will address some of that.

We surely do, Elsa.

I wish you guys were at least aware of Hubbard's work so that you could discuss it in relation to the phenomena you are interested in.

Hubbard's basic model is spirit-mind-body. It is a very simple model. But the body is an extremely complex system. Why? This has to do with the history of Spirit and its descent (you could say) into the physical world. This information was discovered by addressing the memories of many people with the help of an electronic instrument and an exact set of procedures. Why isn't anyone interested in these issues aware that Hubbard and his students did this and made these discoveries?

Their work could, in theory, be reproduced. I don't think it ever was. The researcher who came the closest is Courtney Brown. He discovered some of the same phenomena that Hubbard discovered, but by using remote viewing. Are you also unaware of his work? Also of the Telepathy Tapes? Telepathic communication with animals? What are you guys aware of and not aware of? My impression is that you would do well to expand your range of study into the above-mentioned subjects.

The basic history of Spirit, in too much of a nutshell, is that it started out as the creator of "things" and gradually became more and more interested in its creations and interacting with them as if it were one of them. Thus, Spirit deceived itself and "fell" into a state of believing in itself as a material thing and not as the creator of material things.

Today, spiritual beings occupy a wide spectrum of self-awareness and what we call "spiritual" or psychic abilities. But we are apparently all - for the most part - in the same boat now in that we all lack huge amounts of self-knowledge and the ability to extract ourselves from physicality and act "in native state" without the help of biology or other technologies (such as computers, robots, etc.). We are all confused about a lot of very basic questions of existence and find ourselves mostly involved in the realm of physical-world games and all the messiness that they involve.

What you seem to be suggesting is that we are spirit and once we realise this, able to create with our spirit, manifest any reality like Gods, we'll im sure that mindset will turn out great, not resulting in a full blown psychotic episode 🙄

To be fair, I'm not sure all Scientologolists are technically psychotic. Maybe even most of them aren't. Predators need their prey, after all.

We have had decades of experience with this, and psychosis has never been a problem.
