Brilliant article. This discusses some things I've been thinking about a lot too.

In one sense, sometimes I feel that the world is going fast to hell in a handcart. It can seem like more and more of us are becoming more and more disconnected and dissociated, living in fear, being manipulated, succumbing to disdain, disregard, despite for ourselves, each other and the planet, lives stripped of purpose and meaning, dehumanized and unfulfilled. Satan is coming.

Yet, in another sense, I also see significant signs of something new emerging, with more and more folks awakening to connection and association, becoming enlivened with love and compassion, holding each other with regard and respect, finding fulfilment, meaning and purpose in Service to our best selves, humanity and the planet.

In terms of Polyvagal Theory, we might say there are increasing numbers of people living in increasingly defensive and threatened states, yet also increasing numbers of people awakening to increasingly feeling Safe through access to engaged, calm, connected and still states.

In terms of Iain McGilchrists Divided Brain, we might say there are increasing numbers of people trapped in an increasingly dominant left brain hemisphere's selfish, mechanistic, fragmented way of attending to the world, yet also increasing numbers of people able to increasingly access and appreciate the right brain hemisphere's whole picture, living, embodied and connected way of attending.

I agree with the conversation that it feels like the world currently hangs in the balance. If enough of the population could be awakened, my intuition tells me that some sort new age of enlightenment could emerge if we can reach a critical mass, provided this occurs before we sleep-walk ourselves into a self-inflicted wound that we can't survive.

It also seems to me that Social Media, and in particular, the Podcast space and Substack, clearly has a role to play. Current algorithms have a propensity to increase the division, disconnection and dissociation, and to dehumanize and "other" people. Yet, it allows us to access an increasing number of truly remarkable and enlightened folks emerging all across the planet, with potentially life-changing learnings to share with us, and for fellow travellers on the path to awakening to find and amplify each other.

Despite the despite, I feel there are enough glimmers that it is still possible to live in hope, and that these times are interesting enough that I want to stick around, to at least see how it all turns out.

Whew! This essay packs a punch. So much so that I'd bookmarked it for multiple re-readings as there's much to consider here. Thanks for your multi-dimensional considersations of a crucial topic. I'm new to your stack and thus far wholly impressed by your writing/research.

I wish you were wrong, but I see it too and feel it in my bones. And your essay is so very well-reasoned and so wonderfully written that I can't think of anything to say other than, Amen. Or in modern emoji speak, 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

Me too. Needs multiple re-readings. Gobsmacked. But I hope my soul will be at peace now and clear eyed into the future....I have been beleiving I was going crazy...I am so disconnected from most people and from continuing to do what I have been doing pretending to be "normal"....I am relieved to know

I am not the only one who beleives this.

Every new technology that comes along, we adapt. Every new technology that comes along, some people resist adapting, for awhile. Every new technology that comes along, some people try to control it, to control others. The problem is never the technology, but those people who try to use it against us. Thomas Jefferson, a technologist in simpler times, taught that eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Klaus and his puppets can't defeat us, unless we surrender. I won't.

It's wise to ponder where the One Ring is in our terrestrial drama, and what it's destruction might mean.

This was especially poignant: "I wish it was just a bad dream, or that I was nutty as a fruitcake. I can’t help but see it, though. It’s not something I can turn on and off. It would be like trying to shut off my own heartbeat with my mind; even if I could do it, I’m not so sure that would be a great idea.

Time to choose sides. Time. And stop mourning the world I thought I lived in...it was but a dream. It was never real. Behind my back I alwasy knew...something wicked this way doth come.

Hostage to the Devil…Malachi Martin knew. So did M. Scott Peck—The People of the Lie. So does Archbishop Viganò.

So do you.

“We know how the story ends. The joke’s on them.”

Bravo. Keep exposing this.

I couldn't commit myself to some of the extrascriptural theories about the enemy but in the broad strokes there is no question that you are right.

Where we disagree is on the role that the WEF and the Euro part of the empire in general play. Everything tells me that Schwab et al. are just cutouts. The public face of an occult evil. People go there and drink the kool-aid not because the speakers are the leaders but because the leaders are in the crowd. I very much wish that the were the problem but when has the center of an empire ever been in the provinces? They torture themselves mindlessly to please the Washington masters. They pretend they don't know who blew up their sh*t when we do it. The real powers, as far as earthly powers, are the ones you can't criticise and people talk about Dr. Evil all day in every venue.

Right on, Brother Mark. My brief thoughts:

This is an excellent piece with perfect video/audio punctuations. Taken together, the Sauron video, the Ultron video, and the Indiana Jones video really sum it up for me.

1) WE have the Divine Power;

2) The enemy is "strong" but also has obvious weaknesses, like, uh, only existing because we give it OUR energy; and

3) WE can choose wisely if we listen inside for the answer.

It's not about the GOLD! It's not even about a "Constitutional Republic," even if some man-made laws are [supposedly] written to uphold the Divine Order (and we can choose to use those man-made laws to our advantage in many cases).

It's about Truth, Love, Justice, and Freedom under Natural Law.

Intuition is the key. We each must continually tap in and consciously bypass the guilt-and-shame bullshit which will inevitably creep up as we listen inside for what we KNOW TO BE RIGHT.

Yeah, I keep trying to change that orange anon image assigned to my name, to a pic of young birch trees. Stupid demon keeps denying it to mess with me. Stupid demon has nothing to offer me worthy of my soul, I have tools of protection, so he is reduced to pettiness. Stupid demon.

Reading this long overdue. Chilling to the bone. Seeing this all unfold is truly a waking nightmare yet here we are. At least we know where we stand. Thanks for putting it so succinctly, Mark. I'm particularly taken by Steiner's insights.

Well I'm no fan of the smartphone life, let alone whatever the human-simulator Zuckerberg has in mind with Meta. I feel it's a stretch to think Satan or the Anti-Christ will be a cyborg killing machine. I do think demons, being spirit, do need bodies to interact in this world. And I suspect that it's a more 'conventional' incarnation that they have in mind. I could be wrong, of course, but God became man, I imagine Satan would want to imitate that rather than dealing with the limitations of machines.

Good stuff Mark, thanks.
