So I tried an experiment yesterday. It’s something I thought I’d never do, way back in September when I started this little blog.
I appeared on a podcast.
Okay, maybe “appeared” is the wrong word. I was just a little flashing icon on a screen. I’m not at the stage where I’m willing so fork over my face to Leviathan, and perhaps I never will be. On the other hand, the game has a way of changing very suddenly. If my real face and name is required at some point, so be it.
Anyway, I’m still processing the experience. One thing I can say for sure is this: our host Aly Drummond is an incredibly cool, funny and insightful lady. Her work is new to me, both here at Substack and at her popular YouTube channel, The RealFemSapien (I highly recommend all of my readers to subscribe to both, and to like/share/subscribe and comment on the video if possible).
It was so gracious of her to have us on the latter (“us” being Grant Smith, Doc Hammer, Harrison Koehli, L.P Koch, John Carter, Daniel D and myself), and basically sight-unseen. But that’s what getting to know a trustworthy man like Major Smith earns you, I guess. Credibility and character of his kind has a trickle down effect, and for that I thank him too.
How did it go? I don’t know. I think it went well. But as much of a podcasting pro as Aly is, I am that much the amateur. I’d also need to invest in a much better audio setup if I decide to continue doing this sort of thing.
The topic was Tonic Masculinity. Since I last wrote about that, my friends have written a bunch of great stuff about it. I’m not even sure anymore what I have and haven’t linked to. Doc Hammer made an excellent contribution in early February, and Third Paradigm’s Tereza Coraggio has been doing a kind of meta-commentary series on our articles. Daniel already posted his own piece yesterday. It’s raining (tonic) men. Hallelujah, I guess.
Again, I’m not really qualified to judge how it went. I will say it was interesting talking with the guys in a group setting. Though we chat a bunch on Deimos Station, that’s obviously a very different format, and one I’m more comfortable with.
That said, there’s been some chatter about maybe making such group podcasts a regular thing. I’m on the fence about it. Hoping for some useful feedback about this one, first. And I think we’d have to get on the same page about the show’s content and form. What do you guys think?
In the meantime, I will try to collect my thoughts on the show and its subject matter. I had jotted down some notes for various topics that might spring up, but because our time was limited very few of them did. I will try to compile them into an essay of some sort. I think the current crisis in masculinity is dire, and it’s something that needs to be repaired as soon as possible.
Because the bad guys are not going to stop.
If anything, they appear to be ramping up their efforts, and many of their minions are no longer shy about openly declaring their spiritual allegiance. If the last decade has shown me anything, it's the ripping off of all the Scooby Doo masks. They're basically saying the quiet part out loud these days. Their words and deeds are coming into alignment, and destroying traditional concepts of masculinity and femininity plays a huge role in the newfound speed and boldness of their moves. On the masculine side of the ledger, I think the reason is very obvious.
They are afraid of us.
And they should be. Deep down, they know that when real men are pressed too hard by tyrants, we will eventually fight back. So they’re trying to steal our balls before that happens. Literally in many cases.
But they also want to make masculine expression of being as costly as possible in every environment. That is ultimately what CBDC, ESG, social credit scores and the handing over of sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats and biomedical dictatorships is all about. They want ways to crush free people from an extreme distance, because they know they couldn’t do that to our faces. Particularly not with manly men in the room.
That’s not to say women won’t play a valuable role in the fight. But their own femininity is under a different form of attack right now. They need to settle their own business with those warped and twisted monsters of the female species, who’ve been trained to think and act as broken men. And with women like Aly in that fight, I believe they’ll make short work of the latter.
But I think they’d also agree that the Enemy’s war on men and boys has been even more direct and damaging, and our combined situation more desperate as a result. They can support us in a variety of ways, but it is men who are ultimately tasked to be society’s defenders, by Nature and by God.
So let’s get cracking, gents.
P.S. If you found any of this valuable (and can spare any change), consider dropping a tip in the cup for ya boy. I’ll try to figure out something I can give you back. Thanks in advance.
That's a good breakdown. I particularly like the bit about turning women into broken men... there's something that needs to be addressed more.
It was great talking to you lads in general as well! I hope we can make some sort of group discussion podcast happen.
Good essay. There certainly is a spiritual dimension to what's been going on. To blame this covid fiasco on a bunch of self-aggrandizing midwits in government is completely unsatisfactory, imo. Something much, much bigger is playing out. I give Naomi Wolf a lot of credit for putting this out there: https://naomiwolf.substack.com/p/have-the-ancient-gods-returned
I would also add the War on Whiteness (WOW?) as part of the enemy's strategy in the western world. Well-armed whites in America are, perhaps, the last impediment to the nascent One World Government that is obviously arising. Hence, they must be demonized and brought low.
