For me when I'm writing, speech is both for communication and for character. You can 'put on' a character depending on what words you choose. But the struggle is always to transmit what is in my head as clearly as possible to someone else's head. And it is damn hard to write in such a way as to not be misunderstood. I guess that's what editing is for :)

In normal life I wouldn't use wokeism or other non-words in anything other than ironic jokes or to refute them. And refuting them is important, you have to shout out that the emperor has no clothes, that women aren't men, that those jokes aren't funny. We are indeed at the place where telling the truth is a revolutionary act. And a dangerous one.

Words don't create reality but they do shape minds. If a language doesn't have a word for 'friendly stranger'...you're going to have trouble with that lot. Language is the handle by which people are reached...and grasped. I have mixed feelings about universal language as a result. I have no doubt that the movement to have all peoples speaking, say, English is also the means by which all people at once can be persuaded, controlled, manipulated.

Anyway, going off into the weeds, a bit. Thanks again for the essay, it is appreciated.

I agree that jokes about (and more specifically, mockery of) evil is critically important. I plan to continue doing that, just not as much in their own FUBAR language.

"Words don't create reality but they do shape minds. If a language doesn't have a word for 'friendly stranger'...you're going to have trouble with that lot."

A very good point. The closest the Clown Worlder's seem to have for your example is "ally" which is simultaneously condescending, dehumanizing and militant. I'd much they scream -ist and -phobe at me than call me that. I think that's a preference the sleepier segments of American are beginning to wake up to, hence all the beer and retail shenanigans.

in the christian Bible, at the very beginning, the world was spoken into existence. with words.

that is a clue to how important words are. imo ,words weave the framework for centering yourself in whatever reality you encounter.

without words that can be understood or translated, our "landmarks" in reality disappear. the enemy brain (whatever it may be) knows this. we can stop this immediately by refusing to relinquish our shared words

I agree, Sharon. That's why from now on when I use a word like "woke" it will be strictly meant as the past tense of "wake" (as in "I woke up from a dream about cats."). The Enemy will no longer steal the plain meanings words from my mouth.

“I constantly had to educate people and explain why I identified with those pronouns. It was absolutely exhausting,” the “Cool for the Summer” singer told GQ Hype Spain in an interview published Tuesday.

“I just got tired. But for that very reason I know that it is important to continue spreading the word.”

How privileged Demi Lovato's life must be if she (sorry, they) finds that educating people about her preferred pronouns is "absolutely exhausting." But then, it seems that every "anti-racist" and "queer rights" activist spends a great deal of time writing about how exhausting their work is. Personally, if I find something exhausting and feel like I'm beating my head against a wall, I generally try to find something more productive to do with my time.

To be fair, her industry isn't known for self-reflection (unless that means gazing into makeup mirrors for hours on end). But to be even more fair, these people are only LARPing at normal discontentment. I'm sure they're miserable, but not for the reasons they claim. It's the misery of self-absorption with a disintegrated self. Gazing into the shattered bits of a funhouse mirror, and seeing a thousand warped images gazing back.

Good one, Fabius!

The only problem is, I think that also aptly describes the U.S. Security State (FBI, CIA, NSA,, DHS DOD, etc.) as well as many globohomo institutions (WHO, WEF, EU, UN, etc.).

On the other hand, perhaps that's a feature, not a bug. Lumping them all together into one giant ball of transhumanist, rainbow-flavored acronym sludge seems appropriate, given they themselves do that all the time.

Few really understand the power of language to determine reality (I myself am IMO only scratching at the surface).

Language comes from thoughts, and thoughts are things. Language has the ability to bring imagined things into reality. Language shapes thought processes (you think in language, if you have an internal monologue), and these feed back and reinforce/influence each other. This is why language is policed, massaged, subverted, misused, abused, and tortured.

Those that wish to bring about some insane mash-up of Idiocracy, The Hunger Games, 1984, and Brave New World know this extremely well. This is why you see such Herculean efforts on their part. They know that to maintain control, they must control language at every possible level.

The problem they face is their aims are not aligned with truth, beauty, and goodness, and their language betrays them. The vast majority of people don't want their bullshit, never have. In fact, they are beginning to understand how language is used against them, and how they might return the favor (as Mark's essay helps to explain).

We're in the endgame, take heart. They fight like doomed men because they are so stupid and venal, they don't realize they could take the "L" and preserve some of their power, but because of their own internal myths (language traps) they can't deviate from their course. What comes after will be worth the struggle.

"The vast majority of people don't want their bullshit, never have. In fact, they are beginning to understand how language is used against them, and how they might return the favor."

Well put.

And yes, I think masses of slumbering people are beginning to awake to this, even if they've forgotten what language really is, and what it's for. Free speech is the human default, and people arguing against it need to bend themselves into pretzels to do so. I'm sure that is "exhausting" by some definition of that word. Perhaps we'll see Lovato-esque surrenders begin to spread as a result. That's not victory in itself -- they would still need to take the next step, and open themselves up to the prospect of spiritual regeneration. But it certainly would sap the Enemy's resources and distract its attention.

I agree. I don't think it's mere metaphor to say that someone like Foucault was a man possessed by demons. Men who rape children in graveyards aren't simply hedonists. Something else is going on there, and that "something" was given proper names throughout most of the past.

Yes. I mention this in my writings as well, but the scope and nature of certain evils cannot be reduced to "self interest" or "greed". There are dark forces at work.

"Orcs gonna orc."

Mwah. Chef kiss. Perfect.

Also, academy-speak as the language of Mordor is such a good metaphor that I'm angry I didn't come up with it myself. It certainly jives with my experience with woke books and activist groups, where I would come away feeling exhausted and hollowed and grimy. And it explains my angry reaction to academic language these days: I'm letting Nazgul and barrow-wights molest my mindspace.

"how much music do we contribute to that dark orchestra?"

I think it depends on the context. Orc-speak seems fitting for the trenches outside of Minas Tirith, but not inside Rivendell. There are times where a person needs to explain what they mean and quickly, and will use any necessary tool to do so.

I agree with the idea that there's a time and place for using an enemy's dialect (just as Gandalf taught me). I just think it might be dangerous for me (specifically) to do that, because I'm beginning to understand my weaknesses. I'm not against anyone speaking it. Everyone has their own style. I'm just considering consciously modifying my own.

IMO If you stick to your own "language universe" then it forces them into it. This should have the effect of causing them discomfort, confusion, and thinking in different ways.

Going to focus on doing this myself.

Take such delight in your literary examination of the clown world the globopsychos have crafted for us. Clown-world somehow just seemed to magically appear to me as of late. Nightmarish to think it was there all along, and am just noticing it.

Describing it and assigning meaning to it through observation somehow seems to make it less scary and threatening. Perhaps it’s the scorn that’s mustered through the acknowledgment of its evil origins, or maybe it’s the ironic humor in the stupidity used to ensnare the clownies, that offers a modicum of hope and joy.

"Describing it and assigning meaning to it through observation somehow seems to make it less scary and threatening."

I think humor is a good way of doing that. Although, I'm also beginning to think that perhaps we should also use horror, which has the same puncturing effect on illusions. That's why I think many of us often resort to evil clown imagery, as that archetype is a blend of comedy and horror. It's a fine line to walk, but at times we must acknowledge how dangerous a threat is by describing those scary bits.

Astonishing, Mark. ‘Coding in machine language marks a submission to the spell of reductive abstraction, with optimization as the only ethos.’ Couldn't be clearer than that.

This is what we’re up against with AI, automated information, abstracted instruction, but most definitely NOT artificial intelligence. And the same goes for its makers, the technocrats who view life as mere materialism reduced to its working parts devoid of meaning and love.

And this is where we win. We have meaning, we have God and faith and all the multiplicities of the One Truth that inhabits all things and non-things, a truth that is in essence LOVE.

If we're reaching into the past for language, let us reject speech and retvrn to stick-fighting. Conflict conveys far more than mere words ever could.

Everyone will find the best way to fight. But to abandon speech entirely I think is in a sense a rejection of the Logos, the Word. Even stick-fights need anthems, hymns and battle cries, at the very least. I also think Warrior-poet has a nice ring to it (and is certainly the equal of a hundred gibbering goblins).

Forgive me for posting a comment which is off-topic, but this feels too important not to do so.

I just watched a video presentation by Dr. Steven Greer and several guests, speaking about UFOs. It's mind-blowing. This presentation was given June 12, 2023 at the National Press Club. Whatever you currently believe about the topic, you need to watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDY7t6HihCw

Thanks, Truthbird. I will check it out.

(Although I've noticed it's quite long. Could you possibly summarize it a bit, or give me timecode hints?)

Hi, Mark. I agree, it is long, but it’s both astonishing and important. This is a “tip of the iceberg” summary:

Steven Greer has been studying UFOs for over three decades. His message is this: Not only are UFOs real, there are two radically different kinds of UFOs. The original kind come from extra-terrestrial civilizations, and they are universally benign. (They mean us no harm, nor do they kidnap and torture human beings.) However, there are also human-made UFOs, which are modeled on alien-origin UFOs; the human-made UFOs are malign, and are used for criminal and destructive purposes. These are the UFOs that kidnap and torture people. They’re also involved in human trafficking and other crimes against humanity.

Greer states that humanity decades ago mastered the highly advanced technologies necessary to create UFOs; everything you see in Star Trek already exists. We citizens don't know about this because there’s an extra-legal, criminal, evil, shadow government which has existed since the mid-1950s. Dwight D. Eisenhower's famous military-industrial-complex speech was meant to warn us of this. While ordinary citizens know nothing about this reality, extra-terrestrial civilizations do know what humanity is doing, and they fear that our immature, crazy, violent civilization will either intentionally or inadvertently harm them. They will not allow this to happen. Greer believes that if we don’t get control of this situation by 2026, they will attack us to prevent us from harming them.

Greer has been working with whistleblowers, US senators, and other government officials to try to spur Congress to rein in the shadow government. He gives examples of numerous concrete, specific things that need to happen, and fast. Widespread popular awareness and pressure are urgently needed. There's a powerful slideshow which gives visual weight to everything Greer and his guests say.

It's has several IMO credible UFO witness testimonies (biggest reason to watch).

Recommend using a speed control plugin to speed up parts where participants speak slowly, and use the progress bar to skip through parts of the beginning (Greer covers some Disclosure Project history, activities, etc.).
